Agnes “Tootsie” Mary Bame, 90, walked her first steps in Heaven on October 26, 2018. She joined her husband, David “Pete” Bame; her parents Julius and Rose Bogoski; her brother and sister-in-law, Julius and Margaret Bogoski; brother, Peter Bogoski; sister, Edith Bame and her husband, Gillie, and John Woodruff, husband of her sister, Ruth.
She is missed by her daughters Donna (Del) Tait, Joyce Bame; her grandchildren Josh Naebeck and Alex Naebeck; her brothers and sisters and their families: Ruth Woodruff, James (Pat) Bogoski; sisters-in-law, Eileen (Peter) Bogoski, Gerald (Carole) Bogoski, and Patricia Bogoski. She is also survived by her in-laws John Bame, Delbert Bame and Helen Peck and more nieces and nephews and friends than can be mentioned.
Join us as we remember and celebrate Tootsie’s life at 1pm on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 7771 High St., Maybee, MI 48159.
Due to illness, Agnes spent her final years receiving care at The Laurels of Sandy Creek, 425 E. Elm, Wayland, MI 49328. We were pleasantly surprised when she was able to learn to enjoy her new life there. She thrived by singing and dancing and eating chocolates! In memory of Tootsie and in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to The Laurels of Sandy Creek – be sure to mention her name, they’ll know who she is!
We know that many of you have had special times with Uncle Pete and Aunt Tootsie. If you have a story that you would like to share, we would appreciate hearing it.
The family welcomes those memories and messages in the online guest book at www.kubiakcook.com or on Donna or Joyce’s Facebook pages.
