Trevor Lee Sniezek, age 44, of Dorr, MI, passed away on May 26, 2019 at Spectrum Health Butterworth after a short battle with cancer.
Trevor was born in Plainwell, MI on January 30, 1975 the son of Emil Walter Sniezek Jr. and Terry Lynn (Rector) Sniezek. He graduated from Martin High, in 1994 where he excelled in sports. He was currently working for Chemquest Inc., Middleville.
He was an excellent gardener. He always planted a large vegetable garden and enjoyed all the aspects of growing vegetables and canning them. The family enjoyed the salsa he made. He was a great cook. Trevor’s hobbies included cooking, looking for mushrooms, playing horseshoes, hunting, fishing and going to the casino. He loved the outdoors.
Trevor had a great sense of humor. He was very personable and would willingly lend a helping hand to someone in need. He was a hard worker. He will be missed by everyone.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather Marvin Miller; his grandparents, Gerald and Virginia Rector and Emil W. Sniezek Sr. and Charlene Sniezek; and uncle, Joel Sniezek.
He is survived by his loving wife, Stacey Sniezek; mother, Terry Miller; children, Brandon Lee Sniezek girlfriend Mikayla Zomerlei, Nicholas Dale Sniezek, and Dayna Lynn Sniezek; in-laws, Lester and Carol King; step brothers and sisters, Judy (Bob) Boorsma, Julie (Jack) Hamill, Marvin (Cindy) Miller, Mike (Sonya) Miller, Tim (Jan) Miller; brother and sister-in-law, Bud (Katie) King and Tara (Ron) Truax; father, Emil W. Sniezek Jr.; aunts, uncles and nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Trevor’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service will be held 1 pm Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th St. Dorr, MI with at time to visit with Trevor’s family prior to services from 11 am 1 pm Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to charities of one’s choice.
