Attending Services For Decedents Who Pass Away From COVID-19

Our staff follows strict protective measures when preparing remains for burial or cremation. The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) recently issued the following guidance to funeral service:

  • You can still have a funeral or visitation.
  • Bodies can be embalmed using proper industry practices.
  • Decedents can be buried or cremated, and we comply with all state and local requirements.

Our staff is committed to providing you a protected but respectful opportunity to say goodbye to your loved one.

Limitations on Gatherings and Guests.

The current guidelines for gatherings are as follows: visitations and funerals will be limited to 10 family members or guests in the visitation area at one time. Graveside services are to be limited to 25 family members or guests present at the graveside encouraging family grouping and 6 foot social distancing. Making Funeral Arrangements

If a family has had a death as a result of COVID-19, either suspected or confirmed, we respectfully request to make all arrangements via phone, email or video conference. This measure will be put in place to protect our staff from sharing this virus with the broader community. Our commitment to our client families is to continue to provide exceptional attention to detail and care despite this temporary method of communication. And as part of our ongoing commitment to our community, we will waive any funeral home related charges for delayed services.
