Billie Lee Russell, age 91, daughter of the late Otto and Dessie Webb. She was born on December 12, 1926 in Dexter, Missouri. She passed at her residence of 65 years on Green Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Clyde G. Russell; sisters, Charlene Bailey, Maureen Young, Betty Gains; and nephew, Danny (Glenda) Jackson.
Billie will be lovingly missed by her son, Robert (Carla) Russell; grandchildren, Rhonda (Tommy) Richardson, Robert (Kermora) Russell; great-grandchildren, Carlyn (Brandon) Board, Caitlyn Richardson, Cristalyn Richardson, Alexis Russell, Robert C. Russell; great-great-grandaughter, Percephonie Richardson; nieces and nephews, Ron (Mary) Bailey, Donna (Mike) Kay, Mike (Linda) Rose, Bob (Mickey) Jackson; and special nephew, Tim (Tammy) Bailey.
Mrs. Russell attended Green Lake Calvary Church. She was a beautician at Green Lake until the age of 70. Billie was married to Col. Clyde G. Russell in 1947.
Billie and her husband Col. Clyde, often gave others a chance in life and many more, a safe-haven and time to find their way. Billie will be missed for her quick wit, humor, and her gentle soul.
Visitation with the family will be held from 4-6 PM, Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home at 312 N Main, Wayland.
A graveside service for Billie will be 11:30 AM on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Hooker Cemetery with Rev. Robert L. Russell officiating.
